Recapping Action
Georgia dropped a four-set match at Missouri on Wednesday, Nov. 6. Erykah Lovett led the Georgia attack with 17 kills and four aces. She recorded six kills in each the first and fourth sets. Sophie Fischer (9) and Bianna Muoneke (8) followed Lovett in the kills category. Both were excellent on defense as well as Muoneke put up 10 digs and Fischer had six blocks. As a team, Georgia totaled eight service aces and put up eight blocks.

A Look at What's Ahead
Georgia concludes its four-match road stretch at Texas A&M next Friday, Nov. 22. The final road match of the season will begin 7:30 p.m. ET at Reed Arena in Bryan-College Station. The season will conclude the week of Thanksgiving at Stegeman when Georgia hosts Mississippi State on Wednesday, Nov. 27 and Florida on Saturday, Nov. 30.

Fischer Narrowing In on UGA Block Assists Record
Sophie Fischer is now just five block assists away from breaking Georgia's all-time block assists record. She has 420 in her career at UGA. Valentina Gonzalez (2007-10) holds the record with 424. Fischer will end her career as a top-four blocker in Athens with 458 total blocks in her career.

Bulldogs Signs Five for 2025 Season
Tom Black announced the signing of five student-athletes to the 2025 roster. The class includes outside hitters Olivia Borgman (Myrtle Beach, S.C.) and Alex Richter (Dallas, Texas), middle blocker Emma Bryson (Fletcher, N.C.), setter Chloe Elarton (Castle Pines, Colo.), and libero/defensive specialist Keira Steininger (St. Mary's, Ohio). "We're thrilled about this 2025 class," Black remarked. "As players and people, we are confident they're going to do great things for Georgia volleyball. We can't wait to get in the gym and get to work."

8,376 Pack Stegeman for Georgia State Record
The University of Georgia welcomed 8,736 Bulldog faithful to Stegeman Coliseum on Friday, Oct. 11. The number not only shattered the program attendance record, but also set a new mark for an NCAA volleyball match in the state of Georgia, topping the previous mark of 5,303 set by Georgia Tech in 2023. Georgia defeat South Carolina in a five-set thriller.

Aces Wild
The Bulldogs are among the top serving teams in the league, ranking fourth with 1.76 aces per set and third in the SEC with 157 total service aces. Erykah Lovett ranks fourth in the league with 0.40 aces per set. Georgia has topped 10 aces in a match three times in 2024. Georgia set a program record with 19 service aces against Washington on Sept. 7. The new mark topped the previous record of 17 set in 2017.
