VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. –The Georgia women's golf team wrapped up day two of competition at the Evie Odom Invitational and is ranked second among the team leaderboard. Maria Eidhagen Harrouch shot 71, she is tied for first in the individual field, while the team shot 288 on the day, totaling 573.

"Overall, really proud of the fight of the group today. We saw ourselves get off to a really good start today, holes one through four from top to bottom. Holes six through 11 are where we had it off the track a little bit. Once we got over to hole 13, the last six holes we saw several of them finish under par. Celine [Brovold Sanne] made three birdies in her last four holes. Maria Garcia with three birdies in her last six holes. Maria [Eidhagen] Harrouch was under par in her last holes as well, KT [Karoline Tuttle] one under in her last four, so we really kept ourselves in the championship. We are looking forward to the opportunity to compete for one tomorrow."
