Bulldogs Win Third Straight, Downs Sooners in Four Sets

NORMAN, Okla. – The University of Georgia volleyball team won its third-straight match on Sunday, beating the Oklahoma Sooners in four sets at McCasland Field House, 3-1 (25-15, 15-25, 29-27, 25-20).

Georgia improves to 11-5 on the season and moves to .500 in SEC play at 3-3.

Junior Bianna Muoneke tallied 16 kills, her most in a conference match this season. She hit .361 on the outside and narrowly missed a double-double with nine digs.
Redshirt-junior Kendal Kemp registered a season-high with 10 kills, her first double-digit kill match as a Bulldog, with a .588 hitting clip. At the net, she put up a team-high seven blocks.
Sophomore MK Patten (9 kills) and senior Adriana Rhoda (8) each hit .333 on the opposite.
Redshirt-sophomore libero Makena Lim recorded her third-straight double-digit dig match, her eighth of the season, with 15 digs.
With 11 blocks in the contest, the Bulldogs have recorded 10 or more blocks in 12 of 16 matches this season.
Georgia rolled to a 25-15 win in set one. The Bulldogs had zero hitting errors en route to a .545 hitting clip in the set with four blocks and a pair of aces.
