ATHENS, Ga. – The fifth-ranked University of Georgia equestrian team will host the No. 2 Texas A&M Aggies at the UGA Equestrian Complex on Saturday, February 17, at 11 a.m.

After opening the spring with a loss at Baylor, Georgia (5-4, 2-2 SEC) bounced back with a 11-7 win over No. 6 Auburn last weekend. Junior Catalina Peralta and senior Hannah Jane Lucas took home two Most Outstanding Performer honors. Peralta was recognized for her score of 90 in Flat and Fences, and Lucas for her 71.5 score in Reining.

Texas A&M moved to 7-1 on the season and 4-0 in conference with an 11-7 win over fourth-ranked South Carolina on February 10. The Aggies come into the matchup on a four-meet win streak.

The Bulldogs are 23-12 against the Aggies with a 10-2 mark in Bishop. Texas A&M took home a 13-6 victory over Georgia when the team met earlier this season in College Station.
