Girl Power days are set for Jan. 12 and Feb. 9.

ATHENS, Ga. --- The Georgia women’s basketball team will again host its Girl Power days for local youth prior to the Lady Bulldogs’ games on Sun., Jan. 12 vs. Texas A&M and Sun., Feb. 9 vs. Ole Miss.
UGA student-athletes will speak to attendees about leadership, succeeding in school, being a good friend, and how to deal with bullying. In addition, Athens Regional Medical Center will provide staff to discuss healthy habits. The Jan. 12 date will serve as the community Girl Power Day, while the Feb. 9 session is specifically for Girl Scouts.
Registration and check-in both days will begin at 12 p.m. in the women’s basketball practice gym, with the program to begin at 12:30 p.m. Lunch will be served at 1:15 and attendees will then head to watch the game, scheduled for a 2 p.m. tip-off in Stegeman Coliseum. Single-game reserved seat tickets for Lady Bulldog games are $5 for adults and $3 for children. UGA students, faculty and staff are admitted to all Lady Bulldog games free of charge with a valid UGA Card. Faculty and staff should pick up tickets at the Coliseum box office. Students are admitted to the arena via the entrance to the left of the box office by showing their UGA Card.
Single-game tickets are on sale via georgiadogs.com, by calling 877-542-1231 or in person at the UGA Ticket Office in the Butts-Mehre Heritage Hall from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on weekdays. In addition, single-game tickets go on sale at the Stegeman Coliseum box office (closest to Sanford Drive) beginning 60 minutes before tip-off of every home game.
