Pole Vault

2013: Indoor - Reached a personal-best height of 12 feet, 6 ¼ inches to finish ninth in the pole vault at the Akron Invite.

High School: Captured eight NCHSAA AAA state titles, including four pole vault championships...Set the indoor state record in the pole vault...Finished fourth at the 2012 New Balance Indoor Nationals....Named MVP at the outdoor state meet as a senior...Helped North Buncombe win the state championship as a senior, which was the first in school history...Personal-best marks of 12 feet, 6 inches (pole vault), 16-11.75 (long jump), 41.23 (300-meter dash) and 1:17.20 (500)...Set school records in the 200, 300, 400, 500, pole vault, long jump and the 4x100, 4x200, 4x400 and 4x800 relays...Earned the "Black Hawk" Award, which is given to the best senior athlete at North Buncombe each year...Part of 4x400 relay team that earned a runner-up finish at the state meet...Also ran cross country for North Buncombe...Named the Scholar Athlete of the Week four times by the Weaverville Tribune.
