No. 25 Bulldogs Sweep USF on Day Two of Seminole Invitational

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The 25^th-ranked Georgia volleyball team swept the South Florida Bulls on Saturday at the Seminole Invitational (25-15, 25-20, 25-21).

The Bulldogs improve to 2-0 on opening weekend.

Fast Facts

Graduate Sophie Fischer picked up her second-straight double-digit kill match, tallying 15 with a .545 hitting clip. It's the 47^th double-digit kill match of her career.
Senior Clara Brower ran an offense that hit .350 against the Bulls. Georgia has hit .300 or better in both matches so far this season.
Sophomore Bianna Muoneke led the Bulldogs with 10 digs, her second double-digit dig match of the season and 11^th of her career.
Georgia had to erase a seven-point deficit in the second set, down 10-3, to come back and win the frame 25-20. Fischer's 10^th kill of the match sealed the set for the Dawgs.
The Bulldogs matched their eight team blocks from Friday's season opener, led by four (1 solo, 3 assists) from sophomore Ceci Gooch. She added four kills offensively.
Sophomore Kaiya Tyson and junior Estelle Haugen each debuted their season while freshman Emma Duffield appeared in her first collegiate contest.
