Bulldogs fans can follow their team throughout the season on the Georgia Bulldogs Sports Network from IMG, which will feature one of the nation's best-known flagship stations, an affiliate list that ranks among the country's largest, and production supplied by the premier college sports marketing and radio production company in America.
IMG provides radio network production for more than 30 football, basketball and baseball programs in the SEC and provides similar work for other schools in most major collegiate athletic conferences across the United States. Day-to-day management of the network will be overseen by the company's Georgia Sports Properties staff in Athens, which also handles the sales and marketing of Georgia Bulldogs sports.
Play-by-play man Scott Howard returns for his 20th season covering Bulldogs football and basketball on the Bulldogs Sports Network, while former UGA record-setting quarterback Eric Zeier is back for his 5th full season in his role as expert color analyst. Loran Smith, with more than 30 years on the radio network, and Neil "Hondo" Williamson, who is entering his 20th year, return as co-hosts of the popular pre-game Tailgate Show. Veteran Atlanta sportscasters Chuck Dowdle and Tony Schiavone also play a major role on the Bulldogs Sports Network team. Dowdle handles the sideline reporting and the post game Locker Room Show with head coach Mark Richt, while Schiavone serves as host of Bulldogs pre and post game shows. Charles Youngs, Operations Director for Cox Radio Atlanta, returns as the network's game day producer/engineer, a role in which he has served for more than 15 years. Cabell Philpott is the network studio host and producer for the Georgia Bulldogs Sports Network from IMG.
The network flagship station is Atlanta's AM750 and 95.5FM NewsTalk WSB. All games will also be available via the Internet at www. georgiadogs.com on a subscription basis. Additionally, every SEC football game will be carried live on XM Radio as part of a broadcast & marketing agreement between the SEC and the satellite radio provider.

The voice of Scott Howard has become synonymous with Georgia athletics. Former sports director for Bulldogs affiliates WNGC and WGAU in Athens, Ga. for 18 years, he returns for his 20th season behind the microphone at both Georgia football and basketball games. Howard began his association with the Bulldogs football radio network as a color analyst alongside Larry Munson in the 1993 season. In 2007, Howard called play-by-play action in all of Georgia's road football games, and the next season, following Munson’s retirement after 43 years as the Voice of the Bulldogs, Howard became the program's primary radio voice. He has been at the microphone as Georgia Basketball’s play-by-play announcer since the 1995-96 season. A 1984 UGA Grady School of Journalism graduate, he also called Georgia’s run to the 1990 NCAA baseball national championship and continued to handle baseball play-by-play through the 1996 season.
One of Georgia's greatest quarterbacks ever, Zeier begins his sixth season as a color analyst on the network. By the end of his senior season in 1994, he held 67 school passing records and 18 marks in the Southeastern Conference. Zeier played in the NFL from 1996 to 2001 with the Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens, Tampa Bay Bucs, and Atlanta Falcons. In addition to his broadcasting duties, Zeier is a Regional Vice President for Bank of America.
A native of Wrightsville, Ga., Smith continues his long association with the Georgia Network as co-host of the popular pre-game "Tailgate Show." The longtime Bulldogs Network sideline reporter and author, and a former Bulldog MVP and track captain, Smith has had varied responsibilities with the UGA Athletic Association over the years, including assistant sports information director.
A UGA graduate and veteran of more than 25 years of sports broadcasting in Georgia, Williamson co-hosts the Network's pre game Tailgate Show with Loran Smith and also hosts halftime features. He is presently the Director of AM Marketing and Director of Sports Marketing for top-rated AM750 and 95.5FM NewsTalk WSB in Atlanta.
Longtime TV sports anchor Chuck Dowdle is the sideline reporter for the Georgia Bulldogs Sports Network from IMG and hosts the post-game Locker Room Show with head coach Mark Richt. He also serves as host of the "Inside Georgia Football with Mark Richt" weekly television show. Dowdle recently retired after 25 years as Sports Director/ Anchor at WSB TV in Atlanta. Before returning to his hometown, he served in a similar capacity for WPLG TV in Miami, also announcing Dolphins and University of Miami football games, as well as Fort Lauderdale Strikers pro soccer games.
Tony Schiavone, host of pre and post game shows on the Georgia Bulldogs Sports Network from IMG, is currently the sports director at WSB Radio in Atlanta. Schiavone hosts the Mark Richt Report, heard daily on the Georgia Bulldogs Sports Network from IMG. He is also producer/engineer for the Georgia Bulldogs Basketball Sports Network and the play-by-play announcer for the Atlanta Braves minor league baseball affiliate, the Gwinnett Braves, in Lawrenceville, Ga. Before joining WSB Radio, Schiavone began his broadcasting career in minor league baseball in Charlotte, N.C. and followed with a successful run as a TV host in professional wrestling for Turner Sports and other entities for nearly 20 years.
