ATHENS, Ga. --- Georgia volleyball head coach Lizzy Stemke added one more to her 2017 signing class, as All-American libero Kendall Glover will join the Bulldogs next season.

"Kendall is a tremendous athlete that will provide much flexibility and grit to our back court," Stemke said. "Kendall has an extensive background in dance and that experience is invaluable in her position as a defender for the body control and court awareness that the position requires. Kendall has also played at the highest levels of club volleyball in Arizona and is a teammate that makes those around her better by her positivity, hustle, and tenacious defense. We are excited to welcome Kendall and the entire Glover family to Athens in the fall."

Named an All-American, Glover collected 1,844 digs during her career at Desert Vista High School in Phoenix, Arizona. The accolades rolled in for Glover, as she earned such honors as National Junior of the Year and a Defensive Dandies First-Team selection. Named an AVCA Junior Phenom and Arizona Gatorade Player of the Year Finalist, Glover guided her team to two state championships while finishing with 106 wins during her career.

A East Valley Tribune Player of the Year and All-State First-Team honoree, Glover had one of her best seasons statistically as a senior, recording 832 digs for 20.3 digs per match while setting two school records for digs in a single season and aces in a match with nine. She finished her career with 111 service aces.

Glover played club volleyball with Aspire, as she was recently named to the Dream Team during the 2016 Triple Crown 17 Open. A two-time co-captain, Glover was named a Soph79 Elite Honorable Mention while also selected to 2014's Best Volleyball Players of AAU.

"I was looking for a university that had strong academics, a rich history, and undeniable school spirit," Glover said. "The University of Georgia checked all those boxes and more. Coach Stemke and the UGA Volleyball coaching staff immediately made me feel at home and excited to be a Bulldog. From day one, the Georgia Volleyball team has been amazing. They are an incredible group of women who welcomed me from the moment I stepped on campus. I can't wait to be a part of the UGA volleyball family."
