TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Sophomore outside hitter Tirah Le'au and sophomore setter Kaylee Kehoe of the Georgia volleyball team were each named to the FSU Invitational All-Tournament team for their performances over the weekend.
Le'au led the team with 26 kills, tallying a .203 hitting percentage. She also notched eight blocks, including three solo stops. Le'au earned or tied for the team-best in kills in two of Georgia three matches over the weekend, including the match against No. 8 Florida State. Le'au was also productive from the service line, tallying four service aces, including three against the Seminoles.
Kehoe finished the weekend with 55 assists, including 26 against Florida State. Kehoe opened the weekend tied with Maggie Baumert for a team-best 15 assists against Florida International. Kehoe also tallied two aces and three kills.
Le'au, Kehoe and the rest of the Georgia volleyball team return to action next weekend when they travel to East Lansing, Mich., to take part in the Auto-Owners Insurance Spartan Invitational. The Bulldogs will take on IPFW on Friday, before facing Albany and tournament-host Michigan State.
