ATHENS, Ga.--The No. 8 Georgia women's tennis team will enter next week's SEC Tournament as the third seed and receive a double-bye, the league office announced Sunday night.

The Bulldogs (18-4, 11-2) will see its first action on Friday at 11 a.m. CT against either Mississippi State, LSU or Tennessee.

Live scoring and the live chat will be through the week as long as the Bulldogs are playing. The semifinals will be played on Saturday, April 19 and the finals for Sunday, April 20. The event is being hosted by the University of Missouri's at its recently opened Mizzou Tennis Complex.

Georgia will be going for its seventh SEC tournament title and its first since 2009. Last year, the Bulldogs fell to Florida in the finals.
