In singles, Maho Kowase, ranked No. 84 nationally, quickly took the first point at No. 2 with a 6-3,6-0 win over Kate Lukomskaya. Kowase now holds a team best 26-7 on the year. Freshman Lilly Kimbell quickly followed with a 6-4,7-6 (1) win over Claudine Paulson. The clinch came from freshman Alexandra Anghelescu, when her opponent Stephanie Roy retired after the second set. The clinch was Anghelescu’s third this season following her last clinch at LSU Friday.
The Bulldogs continued the sweep as Gullickson defeated Anouk Tigu 7-5,6-2 and senior Cameron Ellis defeated Jade Frampton 6-3,6-0. To close out the match, Fuller defeated Emily Carbone 3-6,7-5 (6).
