JUNIOR SEASON (2016-17)

Contributor for the Georgia team that went 19-6 and made it to the Round of 16 of the NCAA Tournament, the program's 31st-straight NCAA Championships appearance...Acheived All-America honors after reaching the Elite Eight of the NCAA Doubles Championships with partner Elena Christofi...All-SEC Second Team selection...Defeated fourth ranked Jessie Aney and Hayley Carter of UNC in the first round, then bested No. 15 Alex Chatt/Maddie Lipp of Northwestern...Finished the season ranked 26th with Christofi...Had a seven match win streak with Christofi including six clinchers in that stretch...One of the clinchers secured the doubles point en route to defeating No. 1 Florida and snapping NCAA's all-sport best 163 home match win streak...Christofi/Shaffer's seven SEC wins tied for most on Court No. 2 in SEC play...Reached the ITA Southeast Regional Doubles Finals with Christofi...Concluded her junior year with a 24-7 singles record and a 28-11 doubles mark (17-6 w/Christofi)...Finished ranked 49th in ITA singles...Earned a berth into the NCAA Singles Championships but fell to UNC's Sara Daavettila, the Carolina Region ITA Rookie of the Year...Tallied four match clinchers....Highest-ranked win came against GT's Johnnisse Renaud, then-No. 20, at the Bulldog Classic...Went undefeated (9-0) in conference play at No. 3 singles, the most at that court in the SEC...Went 12-3 in doubles during the fall, including 6-2 with Caroline Brinson...Competed in the USTA American Collegiate Invitational during the US Open, lost against two-time NCAA Champion Danielle Collins on court five at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center...J. sophomore season (2015-16)

Part of a Georgia team that went 22-5 and advanced to the program’s sixth-consecutive appearance in the Round of 16 of the NCAA Championships...Earned All-America honors after advancing to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Singles tournament...All-SEC Second Team selection...Chosen for the SEC All-Tournament team after going 2-0 and defeating her first-ever top-10 opponent, Florida’s Belinda Woolcock (then No. 9) in straight sets... Finished the year ranked No. 22 in singles...Started the year 11-0 in singles with a win in all 11 matches she played until March 17...Led the Bulldogs in overall wins (32), dual wins (20) and match clinchers (seven)...Went 20-4 in dual play while splitting time between the No. 2 (11-4), No. 3 (5-0) and No. 4 (4-0) courts, moving up in the lineup after her strong start...Claimed a 12-6 doubles record in the spring while playing along side Laura Patterson and then Silvia Garcia...Rose 87 spots in the singles rankings throughout the spring from 109 to 22...Finished her sophomore year with overall marks of 32-8 and 19-10 in singles and doubles, respectively...Boasted a 9-3 record in singles play in the fall after opening with the No. 37 ranking... Part of a formidable doubles pair alongside Silvia Garcia, going 6-3... Fell to teammate and eventual tournament champion Caroline Brinson in three sets in the quarterfinal round of the USTA/ITA Southeast Regional.

FRESHMAN Season (Spring 2015)       

Helped the Bulldogs advance to the NCAA Final Four, the ITA National Team Indoor Finals and the SEC Tournament Championship Final to end the season 24-7 and nationally ranked No. 5...Earned final national doubles ranking of No. 55 with Silvia Garcia...Compiled an 18-6 record in singles and a 17-7 record in doubles play after enrolling in January... Was an impressive 10-1 in SEC singles play from the No. 2, 3 and 4 courts...Named SEC Freshman of the Week for the week of April 1...Posted a 7-3 SEC record in doubles with Garcia...Boasted a 4-2 record against nationally ranked doubles opponents and was 7-4 against nationally-ranked singles players...Clinched four matches and nine doubles points for the Bulldogs... Named Second-Team All-SEC...Honored with a spot on the SEC All-Freshman Team...Earned a spot in the NCAA Individual Singles Tournament, but withdrew due to injury...Signed with the Bulldogs in November of 2014 to join the team for the 2015 spring season

Trained at the Ivan Lendl International Junior Tennis Academy in Hilton Head, S.C....Was ranked as high as No. 4 in the nation on tennisrecruiting.net...Rated as a five-star, blue chip prospect on tennisrecruiting.net...Made it to the finals of the USTA G18 National Clay Court Championships in 2014...Was back-to-back champion at the Atlanta ITF in 2013 and 2014.
