ATHENS, Ga. --- ATHENS, Ga. - The fourth-ranked University of Georgia softball team returns to action tonight against Kennesaw State at 6:30 p.m. at Jack Turner Softball Stadium before traveling to Auburn for a three-game Southeastern Conference series this weekend.

Georgia (40-7, 14-6 SEC) welcomes Kennesaw State (28-22) tonight for its final game against an in-state opponent this season. The Bulldogs have defeated Georgia Tech twice, 10-2 in Athens and 10-8 in Atlanta, and defeated Georgia Southern, 4-1 in Athens. Tonight game will feature free live video on GTV with commentary provided by Kevin Copp on www.georgiadogs.com.

A ceremony officially dedicating the University of Georgia Jack Turner Softball Stadium will take place prior to tonight's game as well. A reception for the dedication of the Jack Turner Softball Stadium, named for the late Jack Turner thanks in part to gifts from himself and his son Jimmy Turner, will take place at 5:30 p.m. with the dedication ceremony and ribbon-cutting at 6:15 p.m. followed by the game. Admission is free.

After hosting the midweek tilt, Georgia returns to the road and SEC play by traveling to Auburn for a three-game series. The opening game of the set will be on Friday at 7 p.m. ET followed by Saturday and Sunday contests that both start at 2 p.m. Live audio will be available on www.georgiadogs.com and live stats can be found at www.auburntigers.com.
