Georgia (39-6, 14-5 SEC) will conclude a stretch of 12-of-13 games at home when it welcomes Georgia Southern (25-23) on Wednesday. First pitch between the Bulldogs and Eagles is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET and admission is free.
In the all-time UGA-GSU series, the Bulldogs hold a 21-1 advantage including victories in 13 straight meetings. Last year, UGA defeated GSU 10-0 in five innings in Athens.
After the midweek tilt, Georgia will take to the road traveling to Fayetteville, Ark., for three SEC games with Arkansas (11-34, 2-20 SEC). The Razorbacks will also play a midweek game on Wednesday against Memphis.
In the all-time series with Arkansas, Georgia leads 27-12. Last year, the Razorbacks came to Athens and took two-of-three from the Bulldogs by winning games one and two, 3-2 (8) and 10-5. UGA rebounded to avoid a sweep by taking the series finale, 4-0.
The four games this week will mark the beginning of the final stretch of the regular season for the Bulldogs. After returning from Fayetteville, only seven games will remain on the schedule with a home contest against Kennesaw State (April 27), a three-game series at Auburn (April 29-May 1) and a three-game home series versus Mississippi State (May 6-8).
