Notes
WE RUN THIS STATE: Georgia picked up a thrilling 9-7 come-from-behind win against in-state rival Georgia Tech on April 2. With the win, the Bulldogs improved to 4-0 this season against teams from the state of Georgia. After Wednesday’s game against Georgia Tech, the Bulldogs will play just one more game against a team from the Peach State this season.

LAST YEAR IN ATLANTA: The last time that the Bulldogs played Georgia Tech in Atlanta was last year when it took home a 14-1 win over the Yellow Jackets. The Bulldogs added 11 runs in the top of the seventh inning to make it a 14-1 game.

WILSON AT THE PLATE: Paige Wilson led the Bulldogs offensively last week, hitting at a .563 clip, going 9-for-16 with two doubles, three RBI and five runs scored. She went 4-for-4 in the final game against LSU on Sunday, becoming the first player this year to record four hits in a game.

ON ESPN3: Today’s game against Georgia Tech marks the third time this year that the Bulldogs have been featured on ESPN3. Georgia played Marshall and NC State on ESPN3 earlier this season, going 2-0 in those games. It will be the fourth time that a Georgia game has been broadcasted.

NON-CONS: Including the game against Georgia Tech, Georgia has just two regular season non-conference games left this year. The Bulldogs are 26-2 in non-conference games this season, with all by four being played at home. This will be Georgia’s first and only non-conference true road game this year.
