Series Information
Georgia trails the overall series with LSU 23-30. However, the Bulldogs have won nine of the last 10 games against the Tigers. The last time that the Bulldogs lost a series to LSU was in 2010.

Notes
LAST YEAR VS. THE TIGERS: Georgia went 3-0 last year against LSU, with two wins coming during the final SEC series of the year. Georgia took a 10-7 win over LSU in the first game of the series before winning the final game 10-5. The Bulldogs then faced LSU in the first game of the SEC Tournament and defeated the Tigers 7-0.

LAST TIME IN BATON ROUGE: The last time the Bulldogs were in Baton Rouge was in 2012 when the Bulldogs took two of three games from the Tigers to clinch the series. During the weekend, Georgia and LSU played a 15-inning game that saw Erin Arevalo threw a complete-game, one-hit shutout and took a no-hitter into the 10th inning.

HOMECOMING: Sophomore Katie Browne will be playing in a homecoming of sorts this weekend when the Bulldogs travel to Baton Rouge. Browne grew up in Zachary, La., which is just 20 minutes away from Baton Rouge. During their stay in Baton Rouge, the Bulldogs will practice at Browne's alma mater, Zachary High School.

16th HOME RUN: Alex Hugo hit her 16th home run of the year against USC Upstate, putting her in a three-way tie for the most home runs hit by a Division I softball player this year. The home run was the eventual game-winner.

NO WALKS: In addition to allowing just three hits against USC Upstate, the Geri Ann Glasco and Chelsea Wilkinson did not give up a walk. It was the fourth time this year that Georgia has not issued a walk.
