With one out and runners at second and third, Harrison scored on a failed pickoff attempt that tied the game at one. Sam LaZear followed the run with a double to shallow left and scored on a RBI single by Swafford that made it a 3-1 game. With Swafford at second, Wilson hammered a triple into the right field corner that scored Swafford and made it a 4-1 game. Georgia added a run in the bottom of the third to make it a 5-1 game. Hugo led off the inning with a single to left. With a runner at first, Tina Iosefa took a 1-0 pitch deep off the top of the wall in right center for a double that scored Hugo from first and gave the Bulldogs their fifth run of the game.

The hit parade continued into the bottom of the fifth as Hugo and Puailoa led off the inning with back-to-back home runs that made it an 8-1 game. UAB turned back to Campbell in the circle following the home runs and got the next batter to fly out. A fielding error allowed pinch hitter Maeve McGuire to reach first, putting a runner on for Beggs. Beggs took the first pitch she saw deep over the left centerfield wall for a walk-off home run, the first walk off of her career, sealing the 10-1 win for Georgia.
Georgia returns to action next weekend, March 7-9, when it welcomes Tennessee Tech, Kent State and Purdue for the UGA Softball Invitational.
