Bulldogs Battle Past FSU, 5-4

A resilient effort from the Georgia softball team (46-18) allowed the Bulldogs to defeat No. 8 Florida State (53-9) by a 5-4 tally on Thursday at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in the first round of the Women's College World Series.

Georgia Faces Florida In Super Regional

The Bulldogs and Gators will play a best-of-three series for a trip to OKC.

Career: Played in 238 games, starting 211 of those contests…Finished in Georgia’s career records with 55 home runs (3rd), 214 RBI (4th), 408 total bases (7th), .677 slugging percentage (3rd), 111 walks (6th), .444 on-base percentage (8th), nine sacrifice flies (8th) and 95 extra-base hits (6th)…Hit .327 with 197 hits and 11 runs…Became the SEC and program single-season record holder with 87 RBI in 2016…Tied for most grand slams in a career with four…Named NFCA All-America and All-Region selection while an All-SEC honoree.
