ATHENS, Ga. --- Georgia volunteer soccer coach Henry Zapata has been selected as one of the lead instructors for the upcoming EXACT Soccer Elite Prospect Camp to held June 29-30 at Rider University in Lawrenceville, N.J.

The college camp – open to all high school players – gives participants the opportunity to showcase field skills and mental readiness. Zapata will join other top instructors from NCAA programs including West Chester, Youngstown State, Northwestern, Rider, CUNY Brooklyn College, Illinois, Queens College, CUNY John Jay Criminal Justice, Mount Saint Mary’s, and Rowan. During the two-day camp, instructors will conduct small group clinics, observe players, and lead one-on-one review sessions with participants.

Zapata – in his first season with the Bulldogs – joined the program from the College of Charleston, where he served as an assistant coach. Previously, he was a volunteer coach at his alma mater, the University of Illinois. He works primarily with the UGA goalkeepers and organizes team travel. Zapata has additional coaching experience at the club level for both SC United Mount Pleasant in Mount Pleasant, S.C. (girls and boys U13-U18) and the Little Illini Soccer Club in Champaign, Ill. (girls and boys U14-U18).
