ATHENS, Ga. --- Georgia soccer head coach Steve Holeman on Wednesday announced the team’s schedule for the upcoming spring season, with the first game set for Sat., March 1 on the road at Clemson.
The Bulldogs opened spring practice on Monday at the Turner Soccer Complex.
Following the Clemson game, Georgia heads to take on Kennesaw State on the road on Sat., March 22 at 1 p.m. The Bulldogs will then play their first home games on Sat., March 29 vs. Wake Forest and Mercer, before taking on SEC rival Auburn on the road on Sun., April 6 at 2 p.m. ET. The squad’s annual alumni game is set for Sat., April 12 at 10 a.m., and the Bulldogs will round out the spring slate with a meeting against Georgia State on Thurs., April 17 at 7:30 p.m. in Conyers.

Georgia is coming off a 12-7-1 season with a 5-5-1 record in Southeastern Conference play, reaching the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament.
Earlier this month, Holeman announced the No. 10-ranked signing class in the nation, welcoming nine new players for the 2014 season – including three who are already on campus and will compete this spring. The incoming class will bolster a returning group of three seniors, six juniors, and 15 sophomores from last season.
