ATHENS-----Eight different Georgia gymnasts earned a total of 15 All-America honors in 2013.

This season marked the first that the NACGC/W named an All-America Team at the conclusion of the regular season. The Gym Dogs who earned NACGC/W All-America honors include first teamers Chelsea Davis (bars) and Shayla Worley (beam) and second team selections Lindsey Cheek (beam), Kaylan Earls (beam), Brandie Jay (vault) and Brittany Rogers (bars).

Seven Georgia gymnasts earned All-America honors at the NCAA Championships. Places 1-4 (plus ties) in each event and the all-around in each semifinal session are considered first team All-Americans. Places 5-8 (plus ties) are considered second team All-Americans. Davis earned first team honors on vault and bars, while Jay and Cheek earned first team honors on vault. Second team All-Americans were Cheek (beam), Noel Couch (floor), Rogers (bars), Christa Tanella (bars) and Shayla Worley (bars).

In Georgia history, 70 different gymnasts have earned 346 All-America honors.
