ATHENS-----The Georgia gymnastics team will compete in the second semifinal session of the NCAA Championships April 20 at 6 p.m. ET at The Arena at Gwinnett Center. The fifth-seeded Gym Dogs will compete against No. 1 Florida, No. 4 Alabama, No. 8 Arkansas, No. 9 Oregon State and No. 12 Ohio State.
The first session is slated to begin at noon and includes No. 2 Oklahoma, No. 3 UCLA, No. 6 Nebraska, No. 7 Utah, No. 10 Stanford and No. 11 LSU. The top three teams in each session will advance to the Super Six on Saturday, April 21 at 4 p.m.
Georgia's rotation for the first session will be bars, beam, bye, floor, vault, bye. The Gym Dogs (17-5) had the same rotation in the Auburn Regional last Saturday and placed first with a 197.100. Ten-time national champion Georgia is making its 28th appearance in the NCAA Championships.
The top four individuals from each session in each event (plus ties) from the preliminary team and all-around competition will compete in the individual-event competition Sunday, April 22 at 1 p.m.
All-session tickets can currently be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com. Single-session tickets will go on sale April 16.
