ATHENS-----University of Georgia senior Shayla Worley and freshman Brittany Rogers were named to the All-SEC Gymnastics Team, it was announced by the league office. Rogers was also named to the All-Freshman Team.

The All-SEC Team is comprised of athletes with the top two scores (including ties) on each event and the all-around from the first and second sessions of the SEC Championship. The All-Freshman team consists of freshmen with the top score on each event from the first and second sessions of the championship meet. Ties were not broken. The All-Freshman Team also includes freshmen with the top two all-around scores (including ties) from the first and second sessions of the SEC Championship. 

Rogers and Worley scored a 9.95 on the balance beam Saturday at the SEC Championship to share the league title, becoming Georgia's 16th and 17th SEC bars champions. Rogers also posted a 9.95 on bars to share the title, marking the 28th time a Georgia gymnast has won the SEC bars title.

Worley, a native of Orlando, Fla., is ranked second nationally on beam. She has recorded career-highs on bars, beam and floor this season, including three 9.95s on the balance beam beam.

A native of Coquitlam, British Columbia, Rogers was named SEC Freshman of the Week three times this season, and she is currently ranked ninth nationally on bars. She has won three all-around titles in her freshman campaign. 

Georgia returns to action as the top seed in the NCAA Corvallis Regional April 6.
