ATHENS-----The Georgia gymnastics team will enter the final week of the regular season ranked No. 6 following its season-high score of 197.650 in the win over Utah last weekend.

The Gym Dogs have a Regional Qualifying Score (RQS) of 196.985. Oklahoma took over the No. 1 spot with a 197.570, followed by Florida (197.440), Michigan (197.175), Alabama (197.125), LSU (197.055), Georgia, Utah (196.940), UCLA (196.905), Oregon State (196.790) and Stanford (196.590) to round out the top-10. This equals Georgia’s highest ranking of the season; the Gym Dogs were also ranked sixth the week of Feb. 4. 

Georgia is ranked No. 3 on the bars with a 49.385 RQS, sixth on vault (49.360), eighth on beam (49.140) and No. 10 on floor exercise (49.210). In the win over Utah Saturday night, the Gym Dogs turned in their highest score of the season on floor and their second-best marks on vault and beam.

Individually, Chelsea Davis held on to the No. 1 spot on bars with a 9.940 RQS. She tied her career-high with a 9.95 last weekend and has won or shared the bars title 10 times this season. Brittany Rogers is ranked sixth with a 9.905.

Three Gym Dogs are ranked in the top-15 on vault. Freshman Brandie Jay is No. 9 with a 9.91, while Rogers and Lindsey Cheek are tied for 13th at 9.9.

Senior Shayla Worley is tied for ninth on floor with a 9.89, and Kaylan Earls is tied for 15th with a 9.875. 

Georgia will travel to NC State for the final meet of the regular season Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
