This week's meet will serve as the annual Pink Out Meet as the Gym Dogs team up with Athens Regional Medical Center to raise money and awareness in the fight against breast cancer.

ATHENS-----The Georgia gymnastics team is ranked No. 9 in this week's top-25 with a 196.396 average. Georgia is ranked second nationally on bars with a 49.282, fourth on vault (49.304), 11th on beam (4.875) and 14th on floor (48.936).
Florida is ranked No. 1 with a 197.296 average, followed by Oklahoma (197.125), Michigan (196.867), UCLA (196.765), Alabama (196.680), Utah (196.465), LSU (196.454), Nebraska (196.415), Georgia (196.396) and Stanford (195.900) to to round out the top-10.
Individually, Chelsea Davis is ranked first on bars for the second straight week with a 9.907 average. The sophomore from Austin, Texas, won the bars title for the seventh straight meet last week. Freshman Brittany Rogers is ranked 11th on bars (9.868) and 17th on vault (9.886). Kaylan Earls is 13th on beam (9.861), Brandie Jay and Lindsey Cheek are tied for 20th on vault (9.882), and Christa Tanella is ranked 21st on floor (9.868).
Georgia will put its unbeaten SEC record on the line this week when it welcomes top-ranked Florida to Stegeman Coliseum for a 4 p.m. meet on Saturday. This will serve as the annual Pink Out Meet for UGA. The Gym Dogs (5-4-1, 3-0-1 SEC) are coming off a 195.825-195.825 tie at Kentucky last weekend. Georgia led by .825 going to the final rotation, but had to count a fall on beam and the Wildcats rallied for the tie. Rogers competed in the all-around for the first time and tied for first on vault and bars.
This is the seventh time in the last eight dual meets between Georgia and Florida that one of the schools is ranked No. 1. The Gym Dogs were No. 1 in 2006 and 2009, while the Gators were No. 1 in 2007, 2008, 2011 and 2012. UGA came out on top in 2006, 2008 and 2009, Florida won in 2011 and 2012, and the teams tied in 2007.
