2006: SEC Honor Roll. First-Team All-American on balance beam and second-team on bars thanks to a pair of 9.875s in the prelim session of the NCAA Championships. A a 9.9 on bars at the SE Regional to tie her career high. Was on top of her game at the SEC Championships with a 9.85 on bars and 9.825 on beam. Her meet against UCLA with 9.85s on bars and beam was one of her best of the season. Two-event night in 13 meets during the year and was on bars, beam and floor in Georgia's wins at Florida and home vs. LSU. Her "Moon Walk" on beam has earned applause from every crowd during the year.

2005: Second-team All-American on bars and beam. All-SEC thanks to her career-high 9.9 on bars at the SEC Championships. Did all she could in the Southeast Regional meet not to fall on beam (9.55), and helped Georgia squeak into nationals with a second-place overall finish. Ranked 15th nationally and third in the SEC on the balance beam following the regular sesaon. She competed on her usual three events in every meet this year until the final two weeks of the regular season, but was back on all three at SECs. Three times she scored a 9.925 on beam, including meets against Florida, Utah and N.C. State. Yoculan called her the MVP of meet at Kentucky after a 9.85 on bars and floor. An aspiring singer, her singing talents were put on display when she was featured on FSN's coverage of the SEC Championship meet and SEC-TV.

Club/High School: Trained for 10 years at World Olympic Gymnastics Academy under Evgeny Marchenko and Natasha Boyarskaya. Member of the U.S. National team. First on beam and floor and third in the all-around at the 2004 Presidential Classic in Ft. Lauderdale. Placed 13th in the all-around at last year's American Classic in Ontario. At the 2003 U.S. Gymnastics Championships she finished ninth on bars and 20th in the all-around. Also ninth on bars, seventh on beam and 12th in the all-around at the 2002 U.S. Gymnastics Championships.

Personal: Daughter of Mike and Judy Childs. Has one brother, Travis (14). Member of National Honor Society at Plano East Senior High. Took voice lessons for nearly a year and dance for about five years. Would like to pursue a singing career. Major is undecided.

Recipient of the Clyde Bohler Memorial Scholarship.
