Former Georgia standout Cassidy McComb was named volunteer coach prior to the 2014 season after serving as an intern for the Gym Dogs in 2013. McComb serves as Georgia's choreographer.
In 2015, the Gymdogs equaled their best team floor score - a 49.550 - since 2010. In addition, Mary Beth Box earned first team All-America honors on floor.
Georgia had more NCAA All-Americans on floor than on any other event in 2014 as Brandie Jay earned first team honors, while Box and Cat Hires claimed second team honors.
A member of the 2008 and 2009 national championship teams, McComb was a four-time All-American during her UGA career. She was also the 2008 SEC Freshman of the Year and the 2011 SEC all-around champion. McComb finished her career as Georgia's all-time leading scorer on floor exercise with 567.9625 points, and she is 11th on the total points list with 1,857.1375.She was voted the team's MVP in 2010 and 2011.
A native of Henderson, Nev., McComb graduated from UGA in May 2011 with a degree in Child and Family Development with a minor in Housing and Consumer Economics. She is also a professional licensed cosmetologist and attended University Academy of Hair Design in Tuscaloosa, Ala. She is engaged to be married to Drake Bernstein, UGA's assistant women's tennis coach and former Georgia men's tennis letterman.
