WOODSTOCK, Ontario --- Manuela Carbajo Ré, a rising junior on the Georgia women's golf team, fired a 3-under 68 in the final round of the Canadian Women's Amateur Championship on Friday to finish tied for ninth on the leaderbaord at even-par 275.
Carbajo Ré started her day with a birdie at No. 1 and turned at 2-under following another birdie at No. 5. She dipped to 4-under after successive birdies at No. 13 and No. 14 but gave back a stroke with her only bogey of the day at No. 18.
Carbajo Ré posted 1-over 72 tallies in each of the three rounds on Tuesday-Thursday at Craigowan Oxford Golf and Country Club and finished tied with Arkansas' Gaby Lopez and UC Davis' Betty Chen.
In addition, rising sophomore Harang Lee wrapped up play at the European Ladies Amateur in Joelahtme, Estonia. Lee, a native of Castro Uridales, Spain, posted rounds of 73-77-77 and tied for 85th.
