Abby Johnson is a rising junior at Georgia who enjoyed a solid season during 2010-11. Johnson participated in six of 10 tournaments and contributed 82.1 percent counting rounds, the Bulldogs' third-best mark behind All-Americans Marta Silva Zamora and Emilie Burger. Johnson an several of her teammates are playing in this week's Women's Eastern Amateur Championship in Charleston, S.C.

Have you ever made a hole in one(s)? A few years ago at an AJGA tournament in Rome. And I’ve made a few on the putt-putt course.
Pre-round rituals: The last song I listen to on my iPod before I go to the tee always has to be a Lady Antebellum song, and I always write believe on my left wrist.

Favorite golfer: It's between Tiger (yes, I still like him), Bubba Watson or Marta Silva Zamora

Golf is the world’s greatest game because...It’s a sport that brings out the most competitive side of a person. It also allows you to travel to great places, and it’s a skill you can use for a long time.
Golf is the world’s most frustrating game because…It’s the only sport where you play entirely against yourself and you have no influence on what your competitor does. You can’t control how they are playing that day, it’s all up to you. Also, no matter how hard you work, you may not see the instant results that you are looking for.
Who has had the most influence on your golf career: My mom and dad
The most famous person I’ve ever met is: Michael Vick or Drew Brees
The person I would most like to meet is: Erin Andrews
If I could play another sport it would be: Basketball
I chose to attend Georgia because…The coaches and facilities are great. My brother also plays football for UGA, so it was a good situation for my family for us both to be in Athens.
Teammate’s attribute you most admire: Marta’s attitude and Kiara’s bunker play
People would be surprised to know…I used to be a ballet dancer
Over the summer I hope to…Enjoy the summer and spend my time either by the pool or on the golf course
