Rocio Sanchez Lobato was Georgia's top individual finisher, tying for 15th.

HIGHLAND PARK, Ill. --- The No. 17-ranked Georgia women's golf team fired a 300 in Tuesday's final round of the Windy City Collegiate Championship and remained eighth on the team leaderboard.

Rocio Sanchez Lobato and Sammi Lee signed for 3-over 74s to lead the Bulldogs, who also counted a 75 from Manuela Carbajo Ré and a 77 from Harang Lee. Mary Ellen Shuman's 78 was Georgia's drop score on the day.

"It was a disappointing day," head coach Josh Brewer said. "We had a chance to move up on some teams and we didn't. We didn't handle the wind or the speed of the greens very well. We need to figure that out. This is two straight times when we've played in the wind we haven't handled it real well."

Individually, Sanchez Lobato tied for 15th at 217, Carbajo Ré tied for 18th at 218, Harang Lee tied for 39th at 223, Sammi Lee tied for 41st at 224 and Shuman finished 63rd at 233.

"'Ro' was a bright spot," Brewer said. "She played well and had three solid rounds for us. Other than one late bogey she would have had a top-10 finish. This was a strong field individually so I'm proud of her and her performance."

No. 2 Southern Cal completed play at 1-over 853 to secure the team title. No. 5 Oklahoma State was second, two strokes back. Rounding out the top-10 teams were No. 10 Arizona and No. 15 Stanford both at 857, Northwestern at 867, No. 14 Iowa State at 868, No. 24 Ohio State at 873, the Bulldogs at 881, No. 12 Florida at 885 and Louisville at 893.

Arizona's Lindsey Weaver shot 2-under 69 and finished at 5-under 208 to secure medalist honors by two strokes.

Georgia will return to Athens on Tuesday night and then depart on Thursday to compete in this weekend's Schooner Fall Classic in Norman, Okla., on Friday-Sunday.
