Entered the fall ranked No. 12 in the Golfweek/amateurgolf.com women's rankings.

Ranked No. 22 and No. 23 nationally in the Class of 2012 by Polo and Golfweek, respectively.

Named to the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) HP Scholastic All-America Honor Roll.

Competed in the 2011 U.S. Women's Amatuer and the 2010 U.S. Girls' Junior Championship.

Arrives at UGA following an impressive run of 2012 results.

Fired a 69 to finish second in qualifying at the Jones/Doherty Women's Amateur and reached the quarterfinals of the match play bracket.

Posted consecutive seventh-place showings at the Dixie Amateur in 2011 and 2012.

Shot 70 to finish third in qualifying at the 2012 Southern Am. After suffering a first-round upset in match play, notched four victories to win the consolation bracket.

At the 110th North & South Amateur, carded tallies of 70-74-71=215 to finish fourth among 112 competitors in stroke play qualifying. Then advanced to the quarterfinal round of match play.

Recorded six top-7 finishes in two seasons competing in AJGA events, culminating with third-place showings at the 2011 Cleveland HealthCare Foundation Junior and the 2011 AJGA Florida Junior.

Completed her junior and senior years of high school as a student at Laurel Springs College Prep (based in Ojai, Calif.) after attending Saint Andrews' School in Boca Raton as a freshman and sophomore.

Played six years of high school varsity golf from the sixth through 11th grades before not competing as a senior. Played for Saint Andrews for five seasons before representing Boca Raton High as a junior.

Earned All-County recognition for all six years of high school competition and advanced to the State Championships as a freshman, sophomore and junior.

Led Saint Andrews' to runner-up and fifth-place team finishes in the Florida State High School Championships for Class A as a freshman and sophomore, respectively.

Personal

Born April 12, 1993, Kailey is the daughter of Karen and Joe Walsh.

The younger sister of two former college athletes. Her brother Ryan played soccer at Harvard from 2005-09. Her brother Blair was Georgia's placekicker from 2008-12. Blair, who is currently kicking for the Minnesota Vikings, completed his career as the all-time scoring leader for UGA and the Southeastern Conference - as well as fifth in NCAA history - with 412 points.
