2010-11 Season ◊ The consensus National Player of the Year, being named as such by the National Golf Coaches Association, Golfweek and the Honda/Broderick Award. ◊ Also named SEC Golfer of the Year and first-team All-SEC for the third straight year. ◊ In individual national rankings, finished the year ranked No. 1 in the Golfstat Cup, Golfstat's head-to-head rankings and the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index. ◊ Compiled a 71.52 stroke average to shatter the previous Georgia season record of 72.63 by Taylor Leon in 2006-07. ◊ Finished the 2010-11 season with 22 par-or-better tallies in 33 rounds played and at a combined 15-under...including a 36-hole, 9-over effort at the Kinderlou Forest Challenge before withdrawing from the final round due to a stomach ailment. ◊ The anchor of the Bulldog lineup at all four fall events, posting three top-10 and four top-20 finishes - ninth at the Fall Preview, 14th at the Mason Rudolph Championship and fourth at both the Tar Heel Invitational and PAC 10-SEC Challenge. ◊ Fired a career-low 6-under 66 in the final round of the Tar Heel Invitational, a stroke shy of the Georgia record established by Vicki Goetze in the final round of the 1992 NCAA Championships. ◊ Finished the Tar Heel Invitational at 9-under 207, the third-best relation-to-par individual score in the history of Bulldog Golf. ◊ Played the final eight holes at 4-under en route to winning the Liz Murphey Collegiate, her fifth individual victory at Georgia. ◊ Named National Golfer of the Week by Golfweek and Golf World - and SEC Golfer of the Week - after her LMCC victory. ◊ Now owns 10 of the 37 best relation-to-par individual tournament scores in UGA history. ◊ Finished fourth at the NCAA Championships, her sixth top-10 individual effort in nine post-season events (SECs, Regionals and NCAAs). ◊ Finished fourth at the Spanish Amateur just days after arriving home following the NCAA Championships. ◊ Shot 7-under to finish second in stroke play qualifying and then compiled a 4-2 record in stroke play matches while leading third-seeded Spain to a runner-up finish. ◊ Compiled a 3-1 record to help Europe defeat Great Britain & Ireland, 15.5-8.5, and win the 2011 Vagliano Trophy.
2009-10 Season ◊Tabbed first-team All-America by the NGCA, as well as second-team by Golfweek. ◊ Named first-team All-SEC. ◊ Led the Bulldogs in virtually every statistical category including stroke average (72.85), counting rounds (.967), par-or-better rounds (15), top-10s (7), top-20s (8) and birdies (101). ◊ Six of her top-10 individual finishes actually were top-5 efforts. ◊ The Bulldogs' top individual finisher at eight of 12 team events, including a pair of victories at the Duramed Cougar Classic and the Eat-A-Peach Collegiate. ◊ Shot a career-best 8-under 208 at the Cougar Classic, the third-best relation-to-par tournament score in Bulldog history. ◊ Named SEC Golfer of the Week after finishing as the individual runner-up at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic. ◊ Had her bid to repeat as SEC Champion undone by a closing 73 but still finished third at 4-under 209. ◊ Qualified for the NCAA Championships as an individual by finishing third at the NCAA Central Regional and then tied for 33rd at the NCAAs.
2008-09 Season ◊ Enjoyed a stellar initial collegiate campaign which featured All-America recognition from Golfweek (third team) and the NGCA (honorable mention), as well as also being tabbed SEC Freshman of the Year and first-team All-SEC. ◊ Became Georgia's league-best eighth SEC Freshman of the Year in women's golf. ◊ Led the Bulldogs in stroke average (73.61), par-or-better rounds (13) and top-5 finishes (five). ◊ Fired a season-low 4-under 67 in the second round of the SEC Championships in Blythewood, S.C. to grab the individual lead en route to and eventual four-shot win over the field. ◊ Led wire-to-wire while sharing medalist honors with teammate Mallory Hetzel at the UNLV Spring Invitational...after a birdie at No. 18 pushed Hetzel into a tie, Silva Zamora, playing in the next (and final) group, lipped out an eight-foot birdie putt for the outright win. ◊ Finished third individually at the Cougar Classic after finishing at 6-under 210, a tally that tied the fifth-best relation-to-par effort in Georgia history.
Prep/Amateur ◊ Won the 2010 Spanish Amateur Championship in June. ◊ Represented Spain in two major international competitions during the summer of 2010 - the European Ladies Team Championships and the European Ladies Am. ◊ Finished seventh individually in two rounds of stroke play qualifying and then posted a 5-1 record in helping Spain to a runner-up finish at the European Team event. ◊ Placed second at the European Ladies Amateur after finishing the 72-hole event at 5-under 283. ◊ Graduated from Heritage Academy while training at the Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy in Hilton Head after attending her first two years of high school in Spain. ◊ Finished fourth at the 2009 Spanish Women's Amateur. ◊ Represented Spain in the 2009 European Ladies Amateur Team Championships, where she finished fifth individually in stroke play qualifying and helped Spain to a fourth-place effort in the match play bracket. ◊ Enjoyed two extremely impressive showings in professional events on the Ladies' European Tour (LET) in 2008. ◊ Shot 6-under 282 to tie for fifth - and bypass a check for Euro-14,460 (approximately $22,600 at exchange rates at that time) - at the Tenerife Ladies' Open in June. ◊ Tied for 26th at the Women's Spanish Open in April, where she was tied for sixth at 1-under at the midway point. ◊ Posted a quartet of junior wins during 2007-08, claiming titles at the IJGT at Saddlebrook Resort in October 2007, the Verizon Junior Heritage and the IJGT at Kiawah Island Resort both in February 2008 and the IJGT at Falcon's Fire in May 2008. ◊ Twice named Golfweek's Amateur Player of the Week in 2008...first on February 4 after shooting 1-under 142 to win the Verizon Junior, where she tied Paula Creamer's tournament record with a 5-under 67 in the first round, and again on May 12 after winning the IJGT at Falcon's Fire by eight shots. ◊ Recorded four more top-10s in 2007-08: second at IJGT at Emerald Greens, fourth at Golfweek Junior, fifth at the Scott Robertson Memorial and ninth at AJGA Mizuno Junior at Innisbrook. ◊ Stellar international results include a victory at the 2006 International Portugal Championship and a runner-up showing at the 2007 French Ladies' Juniors'. ◊ Posted a 2-1 mark for Europe in a 14-10 win in the 2007 PING Junior Solheim Cup. ◊ Represented Spain at the European Girls' Team Championships from 2005-08, with Carolina Andrade as a teammate in 2005. ◊ In 2005 and 2006, helped Spain to first-place showings in stroke play qualifying with individual performances of fifth and sixth, respectively. ◊ Posted a 3-1-1 record in match play competition in helping Spain to a runner-up finish in 2007. ◊ Finished fourth at the 2006 European Young Masters after placing fifth at the same event in 2005. ◊ In 2004, won both the Doral Publix Junior Classic and the Lacoste Tournament.
