Pre Collegiate Highlights ◊ A four-year letterwinner in golf and basketball at Buford High. ◊ Recorded back-to-back top-5 individual finishes at the Georgia Class 2A Championships as a sophomore (fourth) and junior (fifth). ◊ On the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour (SJGT), won the 2008 Southeastern Junior and had 14 top-10s from 2006-09. ◊ Played post and shooting guard for Buford's highly successful basketball team, which was 32-1 and captured the 2009 AA state title. ◊ Won Buford Basketball's Most Improved Award as a freshman, Hustle Award as a sophomore and junior and was team captain as a senior. Personal ◊ Born August 14, 1991, Abby is the daughter of Bill and Dawn Johnson. ◊ Her father was a four-year letterwinner at Northwestern Louisiana and is the current defensive line coach for the New Orleans Saints. ◊ Her older brother Billy was a snapper for the Georgia football team from 2007-11. ◊ Major: Digital and Broadcast Journalism. |
