Know Your Bulldogs: Tess Fordham
◊ Named to the SEC's Academic Honor Roll for the fourth time.
◊ Competed in five tournaments, including as an individual at the Gator Invitational and as a member of the Georgia "B" team at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic.
◊ Notched 3.5 counting rounds in eight team rounds played.
◊ Equaled her career low score at the Gator Invitational...although her second-round 72 was a 2-over tally versus the even-par 72 she recorded in the second rounds of the 2010 Mason Rudolph.
◊ Competed in five events, including as an individual at Rancho Bernardo and Liz Murphey.
◊ Named to both the NGCA's All-American Scholar team for the third straight year.
◊ Named to the SEC's Academic Honor Roll.
◊ Teamed with Abby Johnson to finish 18th in the inaugural NGCA Hooter's Women's Collegiate Team Championships in August.
◊ Notched her first par-or-better loop as a Bulldog with a second-round 72 at the Mason Rudolph.
◊ Recorded eighth-place showings at both the 2011 GSGA Top-60 and the Georgia Women's Am.
◊ Named to both the NGCA's All-American Scholar team and the SEC's Academic Honor Roll.
◊ Equaled her then career-low relation-to-par effort with a 2-over 74 in the second round of the Cougar Classic and then matched that in the opening round in Puerto Rico.
◊ Earned an Eat-A-Peach lineup spot with a birdie in a playoff with Abby Johnson.
◊ Named to both the NGCA's All-American Scholar team and to the SEC's Academic Honor Roll.
◊ Made her collegiate debut at the Auburn Invitational and remained in the lineup for eight of the final nine events.
◊ Began the spring campaign with a career-best tie for 39th at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic.
◊ Posted her best gross and relation-to-par rounds of the season during NCAA play - a 3-over 73 in the East Regional first round (to tie Carolina Andrade for UGA's low tally that day) and a 2-over 74 on the third day of the NCAAs.
◊ Captured medalist honors at the 2007 and 2008 Georgia AA State Championships while also leading Metter to its first-ever team title as a senior.
◊ In addition, finished second individually in Class AA as a freshman and third during her sophomore campaign.
◊ Fired a tourney-record of 4-under 68 to win the 2008 Georgia Peach Tournament, an all-classification event featuring more than 300 prep golfers from throughout the state.
◊ Posted four wins, 28 top-5s and 47 top-10s in 52 events sponsored by the SJGT, the AJGA and the Georgia PGA.
◊ Garnered four junior titles: SJGT Jekyll Island Junior and GPGA Sea Palms Junior in 2007, GPGA Wilmington Island Junior in 2006 and the GPGA Junior Tour Championship in 2004.
◊ Won the GSGA's under-14 title in 2003.
◊ As a 10-year-old, quarter-backed a boys' football team to an undefeated season and finished third in the state Punt, Pass and Kick competition.
◊ Born April 11, 1990, the daughter of Jincy and Dale Fordham.
