2011-12 Highlights

Named second-team All-America by both the National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) and Golfweek.

Tabbed first-team All-SEC.

Finished the campaign ranked No. 19 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index, No. 21 in Golfstat's head-to-head listings and No. 24 in the Golfstat Cup.

Paced or tied for top honors for the Bulldogs in most individual statistical categories, most notably stroke average and counting percentage (.983).

Her 73.28 average ranks No. 7 all-time in Georgia history.

Amazingly consistent throughout the campaign...notched 1- or 2-over tallies six of nine 54-hole events, as well as a 1-under mark on another occasion.

UGA's top individual finisher at the Mason Rudolph Fall Preview and the SunTrust Gator Invitational.

Qualified for the U.S. Public Links and finished tied for 5th in qualifying (70-70=140) before falling in the second round of match play.

Represented the U.S. at the World University Golf Championships in Liberec, Czech Republic, where she shot 75-65-72-70=282 (-6) to tie for eighth individually and help the U.S. to a runner-up showing.

2010-11 Highlights

Tabbed honorable mention All-America by Golfweek.

Named second-team All-SEC.

Ranked second on the team in average, par-or-betters, counting rounds (.904) and top-20s.

Georgia's top finisher at the Fall Preview and Mason Rudolph, tying with Silva Zamora at both.

Paced the Bulldogs with a 5-under 67 during their school-record 11-under 277 in the opening round of the Fall Preview.

Shot 4-under 67 to capture medalist honors at a U.S. Women's Am Public Links qualifier.

Finished second in stroke play qualifying and reached second round of match play at the Publinks at Bandon Dunes.

2009-10 Highlights

A third-team All-America selection by Golfweek.

Selected second-team All-SEC and also named to the Freshman All-SEC squad.

Played in all 12 team events and posted 25.7 counters (.887).

UGA's top finisher at Mason Rudolph, Auburn and Tiger/Wave.

Opened her collegiate career by playing the first two tournaments - the Cougar Classic and the Mason Rudolph - at a combined 9-under.

Secured her first collegiate win at Auburn, which was scheduled after a fall round was rained out.

Closed the Tiger/Wave Classic with a 6-under 66, tying the second-best single round score in Georgia history.

Won the 2010 Yamaha Georgia Open by shooting 5-under 139, a single shot better than then-Georgia assistant coach Margaret Shirley.

Pre Collegiate Highlights

Reached match play at the 2009 U.S. Am and the 2008 Girls' Junior.

Placed sixth at the 2009 AJGA Rolex Tournament of Champions.

Compiled a 2-2 record for the East during the 2009 Canon Cup.

Led Mill Creek High School to consecutive 5A State Championships as a junior and a senior, winning the individual state title as a junior and finishing as runner-up as a senior.

The 2007 and 2008 Southern Junior Golf Tour's Tour Champion and also the 2008 SJGT Player of the Year.

Recorded a dozen wins and six runner-up finishes in AJGA, SJGT and PJGT events from 2006-08.

Born March 2, 1991, Emilie is the daughter of Gary (who played football at South Carolina) and Joan (a UGA grad) Burger.

Major: Recreation and Leisure Studies.

Received the Vickie & Leon Farmer Scholarship in 2009-10.

Recipient of the Women's Golf Scholarship for 2011-12.

Recipient of the Robert E. Dicks III Scholarship for 2012-13.
