ATHENS, Ga. – Head coach Meghan Boenig announces the addition of one of the nation’s top Hunt Seat riders Emma Schauder to the 2012 Georgia equestrian fall signing class. Schauder will compete for the Georgia Hunt Seat team.
The Greenwich, Conn., native is the daughter of Fred and Christina Schauder and brings over 17 years of riding experience to Georgia. She has trained under her mother, Christina, a former member of the Pace University equestrian team, and one of the nation’s top Equitation coaches, Stacia Madden.
“We are proud to announce that Emma will be joining us next year,” assistant coach Lisa Anderson said. “Emma combines her strength and stylish riding with her intelligence when she competes and has the added advantage of having competed a wide variety of horses over the years. We are thrilled to welcome her!“
