Equestrian Debuts at No. 4 in Coaches Poll
Oct. 12, 2011 ATHENS, Ga. – The Georgia equestrian team debuted at No. 3 in the first Women’s Intercollegiate Equestrian National Coaches Poll of the 2011-12 season. Current and future members of the Southeastern Conference own the top four spots in the poll, with Auburn ranked first with 58 points, followed by Texas A&M (53) and South Carolina (45). Georgia received 42 points. The poll will be released bi-monthly, with the next announcement scheduled for October 26, 2011. Georgia returns to action on October 22-23 when it hosts Kansas State and TCU in Bishop, Ga.
