Georgia Equestrians Continue Success at AQHYA World Show

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - The University of Georgia equestrians competing at the Built Ford Tough American Quarter Horse Youth Association World Show in Oklahoma City, Okla., have seen continued success at the show. 

Highlighting the event on Thursday, August 8, was Rachel Kolb winning her third Reserve Championship title. Earlier this week, Kolb took home Reserve Championship honors in Showmanship and Horsemanship. Kolb added to her hardware when she won the Reserve Championship title in Hunt Seat Equitation.

A pair of Georgia riders in Madison Beasley and Michelina Carbone finished 10th and 11th, respectively, in the Western Pleasure finals, competing against a field of 98.

Jane Sutcliff took home an eighth place finish in Trail, while Charley Thiel placed fifth in Hunter Under Saddle.
