Heather Ham signs with Georgia equestrian

ATHENS, Ga. – Heather Ham signed her National Letter of Intent to ride for the University of Georgia equestrian team, it was announced today.
“We are very excited about the addition of Heather to the Georgia equestrian team,” assistant coach Mary Meneely said. “Heather excels in both the horse show arena and the arena of life. Her high academic and athletic achievements are among the many reasons why we are honored to have Heather join the Georgia’s western team.
Ham is an accomplished rider that excels in all areas of riding. She is very versatile and is quite adept to riding many different horses. In addition to winning locally, Ham was named the Reserve World Champion in Novice Youth Equitation.
In addition to her accomplishments in the ring, Ham has excelled in academics, as she graduated among the top percentage of her senior class. Ham comes from a Bulldog family, as her mother, Amanda is a Georgia graduate.
