ATHENS, Ga. - Sydney Crewshaw has signed her National Letter of Intent to attend and ride for the University of Georgia equestrian team.

"Sydney sets high standards for herself as an athlete and in the classroom," assistant coach Lisa Anderson said. "Her attitude and abilities epitomize the Georgia equestrian program and I am thrilled to have her join the team."

With over 10 years of riding experience, Crenshaw has shown successfully on the AA circuit at WEF an around the Southeast. In 2011, she qualified for and competed at the USEF Medal Finals and the Maclay National Championship Finals. In addition to her USEF experience, Crenshaw has ridden in the USHJA and the GHJA.

A member of the National Beta Club, Crenshaw has also been inducted in to the National Society of High School Scholars.

Crenshaw is a native of Woodstock, Ga.
