Georgia Captures SEC Championship Title

The Georgia equestrian team captured the Southeastern Conference Championship Title on Saturday at the Auburn University Horse Center. Tied at eight points each with three rides remaining, Georgia defeated Auburn, 10-9, to claim the victory. It is the second title for the Bulldogs since the sport was officially sponsored by the SEC in 2013.

Georgia Advances, Will Face Auburn for SEC Title

For the fourth-straight year, the Georgia equestrian team has advanced to the final round of the SEC Championship after defeating South Carolina, 13-7, at the Auburn University Horse Center on Friday afternoon. Georgia will face Auburn for the SEC Championship Title on Saturday.

No. 5 Georgia Defeats No. 6 Fresno State, 11-8

The fifth-ranked Georgia equestrian team rode to an 11-8 victory over No. 6 Fresno State on Friday at the Fresno State Student Horse Center to conclude regular season competition with a 9-4 overall record and 4-2 mark in SEC action.

No. 7 Georgia equestrian's Hunt Seat squad shut out Delaware State on the way to an 18-2 victory over the Hornets Saturday afternoon at the UGA Equestrian Complex. Georgia picked up two wins this weekend to improve to 6-4 on the season with a 2-2 mark against Southeastern Conference opponents.
