No. 2 Georgia equestrian falls to No. 1 Auburn 12-8 Saturday afternoon at the UGA Equestrian Complex. Georgia drops to 7-2 on the season and 4-2 in the SEC.


No. 2 Georgia Defeats No. 8 S. Carolina 13-5

The No.2 Georgia equestrian team defeated No. 8 South Carolina 13-5 Friday afternoon at the UGA Equestrian Complex in Bishop, Ga. With the win, Georgia improves to 5-1 on the season with a 2-1 mark in the Southeastern Conference. Highlighting the meet was Bailey Anderson (Horsemanship), Leylan Gleeson (Equitation on the Flat), Alex Maracic (Equitation Over Fences), and Claudia Spreng (Reining) who won MOP honors for Georgia.

The No. 1 ranked Georgia equestrian team edged No.7 Texas A&M 10-9 on Friday in Bishop, Ga.

The Red Team took a 15-5 win over the Black Team in the Red and Black Scrimmage at the UGA Equestrian Complex in Bishop, Ga., on Friday, Sept. 18.
