ATHENS-----Georgia men's tennis junior Austin Smith and Bulldog legend Herschel Walker will take part in the BB&T Atlanta Open's College Night July 22.
Smith was extended a wild card into the main draw of the tournament and will play his first round match on College Night, while Walker will serve as guest of honor and flip the coin. This will mark the first ATP main draw match for Smith, who helped lead the Bulldogs to the 2014 SEC title.
In addition, former Georgia star and defending BB&T Open champion John Isner is slated to play in the tournament.
The BB&T Atlanta Open will be held July 19-27 at Atlantic Station. It is the first men's event on the Emirates Airline US Open Series. Isner has advanced to the tournament final three times.
