ATHENS, Ga. --- The Georgia men’s tennis team (5-5) shot back up in the latest edition of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) weekly poll to No. 16, coming off a pair of 4-0 shutout victories over rivals Georgia Tech and Tennessee.

The Bulldogs spent the previous week at No. 35 after a tough stint at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships last month, followed by a week off. Georgia started the season at No. 3, and was ranked inside the top-5 for four straight weeks.

Georgia will look to make up even more ground when it hosts No. 17 Mississippi State and Ole Miss this Friday and Sunday, respectively, at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.
