LA QUINTA, Calif. --- Four former Georgia golfers, including medalist Brendon Todd, were among the 29 men who earned their 2012 PGA Tour cards at the Qualifying School on Sunday.

Todd will be joined on the PGA Tour next year by Brian Harman, Kevin Kisner and Harris English. Todd played for the Bulldogs from 2004-07, Harman from 2006-09, Kisner from 2003-06 and English from 2008-11.

“This is red-letter day for our program,” Georgia coach Chris Haack said. “This is an incredible accomplishment for all of these guys, and we could not be prouder of them. They all work so hard at what they do, and it’s great to see them rewarded this way. We will be pulling for them and all our professionals next year.”

Todd fired a final-round 68 to capture medalist honors and a return to the PGA Tour for the first time since 2009. Todd, who has 21 Tour appearances, was the only player at Qualifying School to shoot under par all six rounds. Kisner, who came in 11th at Qualifying School, has 24 Tour appearances under his belt. Harman (who was eighth) and English (13th) will be PGA Tour rookies. English will be the only PGA Tour member in 2012 who played college golf in 2011 and advanced through Qualifying School.

Hudson Swafford (2007-11) missed out on his PGA Tour card by two shots and he will have full privileges on the Nationwide Tour in 2012. Richard Scott (2003-06) and Paul Claxton (1988-91) also earned full Nationwide status for 2012.
