Henley Playing Another Nationwide Tour Event

July 21, 2010

ATHENS, Ga. --- Georgia's Russell Henley will be participating in his third professional tournament of the year as he competes this week in the Nationwide Tour's Children's Hospital Invitational in Columbus, Ohio.

Henley, a rising senior from Macon, played in the Nationwide Tour's Stadion Athens Classic in April, coming in 34th, and the U.S. Open in June, tying for low amateur honors at 16th.

The Children's Hospital Invitational will be held Thursday through Sunday on the Scarlet Course at Ohio State. As the only invitational on the Nationwide Tour, the tournament annually invites All-Americans from the most recent collegiate season. Henley was named the National Player of the Year and garnered First-Team All-America status.

Live scoring can be found at PGATour.com and the event will be shown on The Golf Channel Thursday and Friday from 12:30-2:30 p.m., Saturday from 6:30-9:30 p.m. and Sunday from 7-9:30 p.m.
