EATONTON, Ga. --- Georgia’s Greyson Sigg matched his career-low loop and vaulted into first place individually during the second round of the Linger Longer Invitational on Monday at Great Waters Golf Course.

Sigg carded a 7-under 65 on the par-72, 7,073-yard layout, posting three birdies on the front nine and four on the back. That moved him to 12-under 132 for the tournament, three shots better than Kennesaw State’s Chris Guglielmo (135). Sigg, a senior from Augusta, fired a career-best 7-under 64 in the second round of the Ka’anapali Collegiate earlier this season.

The Sigg-led Bulldogs moved up two places on Monday to sixth as they fired an even-par 288 for a total of 3-under 573. Baylor has the team lead at 26-under 550, followed by Alabama and Virginia each at 9-under 567.

Freshman Spencer Ralston followed Sigg with a 2-under 70, while sophomore Tye Waller added a 3-over 75 and freshman Trevor Phillips signed for a 6-over 78. Junior Zach Healy had the Bulldogs’ non-counting score of 8-over 80.

Ralston improved to even-par 144 for the event, followed by Waller at 3-over 147, Phillips at 7-over 151 and Healy at 9-over 153.

Playing as individuals, senior Jaime Lopez Rivarola shot a 1-under 71, Jack Larkin Jr. had a 2-over 74 and freshman Will Chandler posted an 8-over 80 on Monday. Lopez Rivarola improved to 4-under 140, while Larkin is at 2-over 146 and Chandler is at 12-over 156.
