Amateur/Junior Highlights
• Became the youngest golfer to represent the United States in the 2005 Walker Cup.
• Went 2-0-1 (the only undefeated American) in helping the U.S. top Great Britain/Ireland 12.5-11.5 and snap a three-match losing streak.
• Won the 2005 Georgia and Players amateurs, and had top-10 showings at the 2005 Jones Cup, Azalea, Northeast and Sunnehana amateurs.
• Named the Rolex Player of the Year by the American Junior Golf Association in 2003 and 2004, joining Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Tracey Phillips as the only two-time honorees.
• Named Rolex Junior All-American in 2002, 2003 and 2004.
• Won the 2004 FootJoy Boys Invitational, the 2003 Chrysler Boys Invitational and the 2003 Thunderbird International Junior giving him the AJGA record with three wins in majors.
• Won the 2003 U.S. Junior Amateur at the age of 16.
• Member of the 2003 and 2004 Canon Cup teams.
• Won the Georgia Junior Amateur in 2002 and 2003, and became the first golfer to win both the Georgia Junior and Georgia Amateur crowns.
• Played in the 2004 MCI Heritage PGA Tour event.
• From 2001-04, recorded 20 top-10 finishes in national events and one other top-20 effort.
• Won the 2003 Tommy Barnes Award as the Georgia State Golf Association's Overall Player of the Year.

• Represented Georgia in the Georgia-South Carolina Junior Challenge Match from 2001-03, recording five wins, the most in the competition's 28-year history.
• Reached the quarterfinals of the 2002 U.S. Junior and the quarterfinals of the 2004 U.S. Junior.
• Finished second in the 2005 MCI Junior Heritage.
• Lost in the third round of the 2005 U.S. Amateur, after topping ex-Bulldog David Denham in the second round of match play.
• Won the 2003 AJGA Polo Junior Classic match-play event.
• Was runner-up at the 2002 Bobby Chapman Invitational and the AJGA Rolex Tournament of Champions, and also had top-10 finishes at the Junior Heritage Classic and the AJGA TaylorMade-Adidas Golf Junior at Chateau Elan.
• Has played in two PGA Tour events: the 2004 MCI Heritage and the 2004 Buick Championship.
