Junior quarterback Aaron Murray helped lead the Georgia Bulldogs to a 11-2 record in 2012 and in the process broke the school record for career touchdown passes (90) surpassing David Greene (72). Murray became the first QB in SEC history to have three consecutive 3,000-yard passing seasons. For the year, Murray completed 231 of his 353 passes with 31 touchdowns and eight interceptions. The 3,466 yards were a career high as was his 65.4% completion percentage. Murray also added 71 yards on 55 rushes and three touchdowns.
